Nisporeni, care se va desfăşura în incinta Consiliului raional Nisporeni. La training sunt invitaţi toţi cei interesaţi, inclusiv reprezentanţii ONG-urilor locale şi mass-media locală.

Thursday, 24 December 2009, Center for Analysis and Prevention of Corruption (CAPC) launches the report:" Citizens call at hot-line: 3 years against corruption, with courage and civic responsibility." It is the second report of this kind of CAPC and contains findings on the project :"Media Education and awareness against corruption", implemented with financial support from the British Embassy in Chisinau, in the period April 2007-December 2009.

Free legal support in electoral disputes

Beginning with July 15, 2009, Centre for the Analysis and Prevention of Corruption (CAPC) has launched the: "free legal support in electoral disputes" hot line (0 800 55 000). Its purpose is to provide free legal support in the election of citizens, NGOs, and facilitating access to justice to all the voters, in the period before the elections and on Election Day.
Launch study on the Effectiveness Mechanism of the Corruption Proofing of Draft Legislative Acts
08 July 2009The study on the effectiveness of corruption expertise of legislation was made by Centre for the Analysis and Preventing Corruption (CAPC) during Joint Project of the European Commission and the Council of Europe against corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing in the Republic of Moldova (MOLICO). This study aimed at analyzing the effectiveness of identification process of legal provisions likely to facilitate corruption acts. The study also assesses the extent to which Parliament took into account the observations and recommendations of CAPC to avoid inclusion of corruptionelements in laws passed.

Training for investigative journalists
12 September 2008The seminar "The legal dimension of the journalistic investigations of corruption cases", carried out in May 2007 by CAPC for 15 representatives of mass-media, was resumed in September 2008. Thus, during 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27 September 2008 the enhanced agenda of the 2007 seminar was proposed to 80 journalists, selected by the Independent Press Association. Nearly half of the participants were from the capital city, another half – from rayons, including 8 participants from the left side of the Nistru River.

On February 4, 2008 at the Annual Conference “Cooperation between the Parliament and the Civil Society” and subsequently, on February 8, 2008 at the Meeting of the Investigation Journalists’ Club dedicated to the „Achievements and perspectives of the Corruption Proofing Methodology” the CAPC experts presented the findings of the Study on the Effectiveness of the Corruption Proofing Mechanism, carried out on the basis of the expert reports written in the period of October 2006 – October 2007.
Study tour to Lithuania

To ensure continuous professional training, the CAPC experts were on a study tour to Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania from 29 September to 6 October 2007. The study tour was organized with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania; the host party was Specialiuju Tyrimu Tarnyba (STT) – the Special Investigation Service of Lithuania, a specialized anticorruption authority, with competencies similar to the Moldovan CCECC.

30 May 2007The seminar "Legal dimension of journalistic investigations of corruption cases" was organized by the CAPC for 15 representatives of the mass-media, selected by the Journalistic Investigations Centre (JIC). During the seminar, the participants were trained by journalists with investigation experience, from JIC, as well as representatives of law enforcement authorities: the Centre for Combating Economic Crime and Corruption, the Office of Public Prosecutor, The Anti-Corruption Office of Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Interior.
